Luxitune

The Jewelry designer of Hi June Parker, HyeJun has always had a budding interest
in violin and classical music.
When she met Metropolitan Opera violinist Katherine Fong at a reception
following one of Katherine's summer New York chamber music performances,
there was an instant bond between the two artists...
This is because Katherine had long sought an intersection between two loves:
the beauty of the violin and the glamour of fashion.
As the conversation unfolded, the signs at the intersection became
crystal clear. HyeJun went home to her sketchbooks and workbench,
and soon delivered to Katherine the first decorated
Pavé Ball tuner which was received with such enthusiasm,
Katherine and HyeJun joined forces to create the company Luxitune.
Since launching in 2012, demand for these elegant adornments spread
quickly through the MET Orchestra, and to violinists, violists and cellists
around the globe.
Violin soloist Chee-Yun, plays a 1708 Stradivari with a gold and
Iridescent Luxitune Pavé Ball tuner.
Maxine Kwok-Adams, First Violinist with the London
Symphony Orchestra has several designs on a rotation basis.
Other Luxitune designs include a jeweled rose, a pavé crystal-studded
winking skull, and the Solitaire series, a classic, timeless bezel-set Swarovski
crystal stone and Mother of Pearl.
All Luxitune models are available in a variety of color combinations and
can b easily interchanged by the player.
