Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Singapore, jewelry designer
HyeJun Park attended Syracuse University to study Industrial Design.
She fell in love with the craftsmanship and the art of Metalsmithing upon
taking a studio elective class and moved to New York City to pursue her
passion for Jewelry Design.
HyeJun has since designed and developed Jewelry for fashion brands
such as Liz Claiborne, Juicy Couture, Kenneth Cole and Macy's.
During this time, she designed custom jewelry pieces for close friends and
family whilst developing and refining her own aesthetic and style for her line.
She launched Hi June Parker Jewelry with the intention of creating
timeless pieces of fine jewelry that are designed to be worn and passed
down to generations over time, adding some sparkle to our daily lives.
Her design inspiration is drawn from her way of seeing the cross-section
view of life, as if slicing a tree to see its underlying structure
and its raw beauty.
Her pieces are all designed and handmade in New York City, in the
heart of the jewelry district. She uses recycled gold and sources
all of her materials through local businesses.
